Welcome to History of Magic class, dear students! In this class, you will learn about famous events in Wizarding history, as well as changes in Wizarding society through the years.

Welcome now to your Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Please have your copy of The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self Protection by Quentin Trimble at hand. In this class, you will learn jinxes, hexes, and curses with which to defend yourself against Dark magic. You will also learn the kinds of spells Dark witches and wizards will try to use against you, such as Avada Kedavra, Crucio, and Imperio, as well as how to deal with a few Dark creatures.

Welcome to Ancient Runes class! In this subject you will learn how to translate various types of runes and how to form them yourselves. This is a very advanced subject, so think twice before taking it when starting your extra classes. The textbooks you will need are either Ancient Runes Made Easy or Spellman's Syllabary.
